I am directed by Earl Curzon of Kedleston to transmit to you herewith copy of a Memorandum from the Danish Minister on the subject of a claim by a resident in the first plebiscite zone of Sleswig for assistance in recovering certain property sequestrated by the British Authorities at Hong Kong.

I am to suggest that, until the result of the plebiscite has been proclaimed, it would be premature although restitution appears justifiable in this case, take any action in the matter, end that the claim camot be admitted until proof is forthcoming that Captain Bendixen has divested himself of his German nationality and has been accepted as a Danish subject.
3. Subject to the concurrence of the Board of Trade, Lord Curzon proposes so to reply to the Danish ·
